About the Print
Each crest is printed on A4 (210 x 297mm) 290gsm semi-gloss parchment art card using rich, vibrant inks. The A4 sheet is then folded in half, to arrive at the A5 greetings card. The result is detailed and striking, a really lovely, personalised card! It also comes with a classic ivory plain envelope, for you to add the recipient's details.
Depending on your surname, the crest may feature elements including the Shield, Helm, Crest, and Mantle, all drawn from our historical heraldry research.
A Note on Heraldry & Our Approval Process - Please Read
The world of heraldry is wonderfully complex! Many surnames have multiple versions of a crest depending on the source, region, or family branch - so no two researchers always agree. For this reason, our prints are created and sold as novelty keepsakes. While we're passionate about history and design, we can't guarantee 100% historical accuracy for your specific family line. If you need a certified, verified family history, we'd recommend consulting a specialist heraldry or genealogy company.
⭐ Before we print anything, we send a digital preview of your crest directly to your Etsy inbox for your approval. You'll receive an email notification when it's ready - just keep an eye on your Etsy messages after ordering. We won't print or dispatch a thing until you've given us the thumbs up!
Please note that if we don't hear back within 14 days, your order will be cancelled and fully refunded.
We think that's just the way it should be - complete peace of mind before anything goes to print.
